Forums down

The forums are down for a moment, but this time, we got a convenient page explaining the reason. Basically, they’re making it so the forums will load faster and crash less often. A downtime to prevent future downtimes. It is for the good of our forumites and… our nation! Okay, maybe just our forumites.

For archival purposes, a replica of the page carrying this information has been placed here.

Easter Treat

As a special reward for you who come here, I bring you the bio of one of my characters, May Cottontail the Easter Bunny.

It appears we have run out of fuel

It has been a very long time since someone posted in the forums. I’d like one of you to act as a snowball-roller. y’know, start posting in the forums so others will post, causing a chain-reaction that will cause a bustling forum board. Or so I hope.

I forgot to mention a few things

First off, a new feature in the forums. You can now add many new things to your forum posts, such as Quicktime videos, Flash, spoiler tags… just to name a few.

Next, I shall tell you a tale of a new modification to Gold. You may now view the recent additions/subtractions to/from your Gold count, not including the Gold you earn for posting.

That is all.

A whole lotto fun

Heeey kiiids!

It’s time for the lottery mod to make its scene. Now you can play the lottery with the gold you get on the forums.

Writer’s block… draining… quality…

First I get writer’s block on the magazine, now I get writer’s block on the site. Not to mention, I’ve been overdue on my comic for quite some time. Yeek.

*Sigh*

Nobody seems to be visiting my site anymore. Not my forums, not my home page, nada. That explains my lack of inspiration to make posts as of late. What should I do to make people visit more often?

New strip up

A new strip of Another Fine Adventure is here, as well as a new change predicted in the comment.

February issue canceled

I am way too delayed on it, so I am skipping it altogether. Sorry.

Game deleted

“Pyramids” was deleted from the arcade list today for having objectionable content.

Arcade Simplified

Okay, I was planning on having each game cost five gold per play (to encourage posting), but it seems the arcade mod only supports its own currency (reward poionts). Gameplay is now free and all games are available without me having to touch them.

Arcade delay

Sorry for the very large and still ongoing delay of the game setup process. The internet was down for hours and the forum board is currently down.

Arcade notice

For several reasons I shall not name, I must test and configure every game on there before they are made public once more. The process may take long or it may not. The former is highly likely.

Mob reundone

The glitch hath been fixed.

Mob undone

There we go. Now everyone can access the games, instead of everyone except staff.

And how did Elp get on there before the mod was installed? This is… peculiar.

How did he play a game that doesn’t exist yet? This is very peculiar. Ker-glitch.

Arcade mobbed

“Sorry, your Access level does not allow access to this area.”

Gah?

Arcade mod

I am seconds away from adding the arcade mod, which will allow forum users to play free games on there (to my knowledge, no downloads or anything like that). More details to come.

Shop mod completed

The shop mod is finished. As yet, there are only two items, but I will probably add more later.

Shop mod

That cash mod finally has a purpose. Now you can buy things on the forums with the Gold you collect there. Not products, exactly. In fact, I have yet to figure out what will be for sale. Nothing material, that’s for sure.

Anyway, now I must begin the lengthy task of testing, learning, creating, and stocking the stores, not in that order. Wish me luck!

Big Problem III: The boomerang strikes back

It turns out that I had to revert the page back to the disabled-not-invisible thing. It turns out that I can’t change the button style without the browser reloading the page (and thus resetting the image).
