The Plumber (yes, that’s his nickname) has created a Doctor Who comic. Check the Comics section when you have the chance.

I may eventually create seperate pages for each person’s comic. However, that point might be a bit far off.

Google Ads

Well, I have good news and bad news.

It seems they've now put google ads on my board. However, I have the potential to make money from it. More info when I have more of a clue what is going on. Also, the green text ads are gone.

Well, my constant badgering of the llamas has paid off. The forums are back up.

This is strange. The ‘Let’s Count to a Million’ game seems to be the most active as of late. We may even reach that goal someday…

In-text: a change of heart

Remember when I opposed putting in in-text ads on the site, even though it would mean taking the yahoo ads (the ones that appear as threads) out? Well, now there’s a whole new spin to it.

I looked on the FreePowerBoards forums and saw something interesting abut the in-text ads: "As for the saftey of the ads, this has already been questioned and answered. If you look at the ads they are reputable companies like Sun Microsystems or links to simple MSN searches."

That is really, really good. No risk now. The unsafe false thread ads have been removed now and in-text ads are in.

When good verons don’t join in on the fun

Those of you who frequent the forums may wonder why Draco never appears on this blog. Well, the reason is that he wants to leave the chaos to us, since for the blog itself, I never need sense talked into me. I fit into the plan of the blog because the blog is as mad as I am.

But you will see! You will all see! I am more mad than this blog! More mad than even you… Mwa ha ha!

Well, okay, that’s only the minor reason. The main reason is that he thinks Sylver is probably confusing enough for newcomers to get to know without adding yet a third persona.

No Spambots?

I am probably jinxing myself by saying this, but for some odd reason, there has been a distinct lack of any spambots ever on my forums. Weird. Every other forum board on the face of the planet, it seems, is having a problem with spambots, but not I.

Three new strips at once

Yes, there are three new AFA comic strips up. And there was much rejoicing. *burp*

That was a quick refute

That was quite a record time there. A small time and already FreePowerBoards has apparently decided against in-text ads. Yay, unindecision!

In-text is out of the question

You know those little link-looking things that display an ad when you hover over them? The ones with the double-underline that automatically insert themselves into the page? FreePowerBoards may end up putting those in. Luckily, they disapproved them the last time they considered it, so it probably won’t pass.

One thing’s for sure. If they end up doing that, I’m getting a different forum hosting service or perhaps even hosting my own on the new hosting service I got. I’d explain, but that would be getting off-topic and I must maintain my foc…

New Strip Up

I know I haven’t done it in a while. I know I should have. A new strip of AFA is up.

Cliché update

I think this was a pretty clever move on my part. I set up the word censorship tool on the forums to automatically replace the word “cliche” with “cliché”.

The hits just keep on coming

I have now been made admin of the DragonDaggers board. I must be really good at managing forums. Stop snickering.

What a Forum Resumé

I was just made tech (which, in turn, makes me an admin, because I need access to the board’s workings) of the pokémaster board. That makes me admin of two boards (that and my own) and moderator of three boards (Fred Barlowe, Furthia High, and DraggonDaggers). First the forum boards, then… the world!
